The most common treatment options for lung cancer are surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy, or a combination of these.

Our physicians also offer innovative treatments developed through their research, such as endobronchial brachytherapy, which is a form of internal radiation treatment.

Other treatments for lung cancer include:

  • High-Dose Radiation Therapy
  • Intensity Modulated Radiation
  • Investigational Drug Therapy
  • Laser Ablation
  • Paracentesis
  • Percutaneous Aspiration
  • Percutaneous Radio Frequency Ablation

  • Thoracentesis
  • Tumor Ablation

Clinical Trials

As a patient, you may be eligible to participate in clinical research trials. You'll have the opportunity to receive the most advanced drug therapies or procedures that are only available when you participate in a clinical trial.

These new therapies and procedures may be more successful and may improve not only your care but that of other patients. Your physician will discuss which clinical trials are appropriate for your condition.
