"This is a tribute to the teamwork of physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals who are focused on how to deliver the best care possible to the patient. This kind of recognition only comes when the commitment to deliver the highest level of patient care is the priority of everyone at the hospital,” said Bob Page, president and chief executive officer of The University of Kansas Hospital.
"Thanks to the continued commitment to outstanding patient care and outcomes by our team of caregivers, we keep moving closer to our goal of being the nation's best hospital," added Page.
