KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Country music fans have an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share a private meet and greet session with country superstar LeAnn Rimes.
Anyone holding a pass to the fifth annual Treads and Threads, a benefit for the Cancer Center at The University of Kansas Hospital, held at the Kansas Speedway on September 8, can place a bid to bring seven friends for an hour-long private cocktail party prior to the event.
The top bid will allow the winner and their guests to enjoy a private party from 6:15-7:15 p.m. on Friday, September 8, complete with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in a private room at Chateau Avalon, located next door to Kansas Speedway. LeAnn will join them for a 20-minute photo and autograph session. Then a limo will take the winner and guests to the Speedway for the main events. When the evening’s over, the limo will return the winner’s party to Chateau Avalon.
Bids for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity begin at $2,500, with all proceeds benefiting the Cancer Center at The University of Kansas Hospital. The bidding is now open and continues through midnight on Sunday, August 27.
