The Liver Transplant Program at The University of Kansas Hospital has completed more than 780 liver transplants since it began in 1990. Our program is recognized as one of the regional leaders in liver transplantation.
The success of our liver transplant program is due to our integrated, multidisciplinary team approach to the diagnosis, treatment and management of liver disorders. Our goals of patient care, teaching, and research are mutually compatible and work together for the benefit of our patients.
