A NEW ENVIRONMENT FOR OUTPATIENT CARE

The new medical office building will meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification requirements of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Our state-of-the-art medical office building, scheduled to open in 2011, will integrate convenience and a soothing, inviting environment. Patients will visit their doctors and receive lab and imaging services under one roof, with easy access to The University of Kansas Hospital. Spacious waiting areas will be bathed in natural light, while exam suites promote both privacy and accessibility. Visitors will appreciate easy access through a skywalk from a new parking facility, or convenient dropoff and pickup at a street-level entrance.

The 207,500-square-foot facility will house nine specialties and 18 physician clinics. Located on the south side of the hospital's entrance, the building is a reflection of the remarkable collaboration among the three primary groups on campus: the hospital, The University of Kansas Physicians and the University of Kansas Medical Center.
