The University of Kansas Hospital has been named to Modern Healthcare magazine's "Best Places to Work in Healthcare." We ranked among the top 50 health care providers in the country. The list includes hospitals, providers, suppliers, payers, associations, etc., with at least 25 employees.

The award is primarily based on employees' responses to a questionnaire that analyzed eight core areas: leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits, and overall satisfaction. Modern Healthcare also analyzed policies and practices, benefits and demographics.
